On Portlandia's special holiday episode, there was a sketch in which Fred Armisen played a nervous, vintage-gear-obsessed studio engineer who uses the phrase Pet Sounds over and over, like a tourettic tic. To guys like that, Jack White must be some sort of glowing deity, so that's the form he took when he showed up. Watch the sketch below.
