Photos: Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers @ Fonda Theatre, Hollywood 6/4/13
After making an appearance at the Hangout Festival and a run of shows in New York, Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers headed to California for a six night residency at the Fonda Theatre that sold out in seconds. Last night was the second evening and featured a number of covers from such luminary acts as Chuck Berry, J.J. Cale, the Grateful Dead, and Muddy Waters. Petty was all smiles as he blazed through a twenty-two song set with some scintillating guitar work by Mike Campbell. The evening closed out in a high gear with the crowd singing along to Petty classics “Refugee,” “Runnin’ Down A Dream,” and “American Girl.” Check out the photos in the gallery above and the setlist below.
