Yesterday we posted lyrics for upcoming Jay-Z single “Holy Grail” which features a few lines from Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit.” Well, today he’s released lyrics for another track from Magna Carta Holy Grail called “Heaven” that features “that’s me in the corner/that’s me in the spotlight/losing my religion” from R.E.M.’s, yes, “Losing My Religion.” I don’t know what is Jay-Z’s strategy here, but let’s have fun with it, okay? In the office, we’ve got money on “Creep” by Radiohead next (although, rap blogger Andrew Noz requested Crash Test Dummies and I totally think “Mmm Mmm Mmm Mmm” might work!).
