Darkside is a collaborative project between Nicolas Jaar and guitarist Dave Harrington. Earlier this year, we heard from the duo when it released a remix of every track on Random Access Memories under the name Daftside. A few days ago, Darkside announced a new album on Twitter, and then premiered it live on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Now, the band has released a segment of the album via other-people.net, a subscription-based site that will offer new music weekly. To start, they’ve offered the first listen for free. “Welcome to Other People,” the site says. “Every Sunday we deliver a new issue. This week we give you the first 11 minutes of the Darkside record.
