Phoenix didn’t get a chance to play the Austin City Limits Festival yesterday, since a flash flood warning forced organizers to cancel an entire day of music. The French band did, however, recently tape an episode of the PBS live-music TV show Austin City Limits, and it aired on Saturday night. This was probably cold comfort to festival ticketholders who didn’t get to go to the show. But for the rest of us, it’s a chance to watch Phoenix play an hour-long set from the comfort of our living rooms — or, as the case may be, wherever we keep our laptops.
