285 Kent To Host Final Shows
Last month, the highly regarded Brooklyn DIY venue 285 Kent held what looked like its final show, as booker Ric Leichtung tweeted that the venue had not announced any further shows. Well, it turns out that the venue will reopen, but it will only do so briefly, hosting four final shows before closing its doors for good. The good news is that those four shows, which go down over the next two weeks, all look really good. Fucked Up, Autre Ne Veut, Diiv, Wolf Eyes, Dan Deacon, Laurel Halo, White Lung, Noveller, and many others are set to perform, and three of the four shows promise unnamed “special guests.” Pitchfork is co-presenting those shows, and you’ll find all the relevant info here.
