Dum Dum Girls – “Rimbaud Eyes”
The new Dum Dum Girls album Too True arrives at the end of the month, but so far we’ve only heard lead single “Lost Boys And Girls Club.” That changes now with the release of “Rimbaud Eyes,” an exceptionally catchy guitar-driven ’80s pop-rocker that references the 19th century libertine teenage poet Arthur Rimbaud. It’s like a Bangles anthem for Halloween night, and it reinforces that this band hasn’t ceased making quantum leaps. My already feverish anticipation for this album only intensified upon hearing it. Check it out below.
Too True is out 1/28 via Sub Pop.
