Watch A Teaser For Eels’ The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett
At least in music-career terms, the story of Mark Oliver Everett is anything but a cautionary tale. Everett’s Eels project could’ve disappeared forever into the one-hit wonder abyss after 1997’s “Novocaine For The Soul.” Instead, he’s about to be 16 studio albums deep into a culty, confessional studio-pop singer-songwriter career, and he got to kiss Padma Lakshmi in a video once. But Everett has nevertheless titled his new album The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett, and you can hear a very pretty 62 seconds of new music in the teaser video below.
The Cautionary Tales Of Mark Oliver Everett is out 4/22.
