Rick Ross – “Oyster Perpetual”
I have no idea what the phrase “Oyster Perpetual” means, except that it sounds vaguely luxurious, and that’s probably exactly the way Rick Ross means it. “Oyster Perpetual” happens to be the first all-solo Ross track that will presumably appear on the forthcoming Ross album Mastermind; it follows the Future collab “No Games” and the Jay Z team-up “The Devil Is A Lie.” This one finds Ross in an expansive mood, talking that heavily moneyed gobbledygook over a dizzy soul sample. It’s good, and you can hear it below.
Mastermind is out 3/4 on Def Jam.
