Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks – “Strange Colores” Video
The debut album from Avey Tare’s Slasher Flicks, Enter The Slasher House, is due early next month, and has already been preceded by a single and video (“Little Fang”). Now, they’ve dropped another track, “Strange Colores,” which sounds even more like Tare’s work in Animal Collective than did “Little Fang.” (Alongside Tare, the band features keyboard player Angel Deradoorian of Dirty Projectors and drummer Jeremy Hyman of Ponytail, Boredoms, and Dan Deacon.) It’s accompanied by a seriously tripped-out video, directed and edited by Olivia Wyatt, which should probably come with a trigger warning for people prone to seizures.
