After working as Beyoncé’s primary collaborator on her great 2013 self-titled album, the mysterious singer and producer Boots, former frontman of the Band To Watch Blonds, is stepping out on his own. He’s posted his songs “Dust” and “Howl,” and now he’s shared another one, a glossy and skittery rap/R&B track called “Ride Ride Ride” that uses bits of a voicemail from Sia according to Spin. Boots obviously isn’t half the singer that Beyoncé is, but the song has atmosphere for days. Download it below.

We don’t yet know whether all these tracks are leading toward an album or what, but if there is an album in the works, it sounds like it’ll probably be pretty good.
