Shamir is a 19-year-old singer from Las Vegas who specializes in a euphoric, anthemic form of disco-house. Everything we’ve heard from him thus far is awesome. Bailey debuted earlier this year on Common Interests Were Not Enough To Keep Us Together, a cassette compilation from the small New York indie Godmode, and we posted his “If It Wasn’t True” video a little while back. Bailey’s newest single is a shivery, piano-heavy thump produced by the God Mode label boss and Mr. Dream drummer Nick Sylvester (who, full disclosure, is a really good friend of mine). Listen below.
