Stream Priests Bodies And Control And Money And Power
The Washington, D.C. punk band Priests has a certain snarling, pointed, self-aware, sped-up tightness that we rarely, if ever, get to hear in a new band anymore. (The last time I remember hearing that attitude this clearly articulated was on Someone To Drive You Home, the deeply underrated 2006 debut from the now-defunct British band the Long Blondes.) Priests’ deeply enjoyable new EP Bodies And Control And Money And Power arrives next week, and we’ve already posted its early tracks “Right Wing” and “Doctor.” Check out the whole thing at Pitchfork.
Bodies And Control And Money And Power is out 6/3 on Don Giovanni/Sister Polygon.
