Watch Last Night’s Jack White Concert In Los Angeles
Yesterday, Jack White released his spitting, screaming new solo album Lazaretto — an LP that plays like a swaggering nervous breakdown, if that even makes any sense. And he celebrated its release by playing a show at the historic Fonda Theater in Hollywood, with NPR’s cameras recording it. (It’s not exactly a surprise that White is happiest in the sort of place you can describe with the word “historic.”) If you watched White’s pretty-great Tonight Show performance from earlier this week, then you’ve already caught a glimpse of what White and his current touring band are doing. But now we can see a full two-hour live show, replete with White Stripes and Raconteurs songs, as well as a cover of Hank Williams’s “You Know That I Know.” Watch the whole set here.
