Reunited Slowdive Announce North American Tour
When the great, too-soon-gone shoegaze band Slowdive announced they were reuniting back in January, it was cause for genuine excitement, and that feeling intensified when video of the band’s first reunion show surfaced online: For a band that had been inactive the last 20 years, they sounded pretty damned impressive. Now, they’ve announced a new slate of US tour dates, which is pretty much the best news any US-based fan could have hoped for, short of actual new music from the band. Perhaps that’s next? No need to get greedy, though. Check out those tour dates below, along with video of the reunited band playing the wonderful Souvlaki track “When The Sun Hits.”
