Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers – “Forgotten Man”
Tom Petty has said his new album with the Heartbreakers is going to be “a straight hard-rockin’ record, from beginning to end,” and from what we’ve heard — “Fault Lines,” “U Get Me High,” “Red River,” and “American Dream Plan B” — he’s delivering on that. His newest, “Forgotten Man,” is another dose of rock and roll delivered in a fittingly classic way. If you head to Petty’s website you’ll find an interactive site modeled after an old car radio; turn the thing on and use your mouse to flip through the stations and you’ll find all of the new songs. This newest is the second one over between 104 and 100.
