After 10 years broken up, the Unicorns are finally back together and touring (and opening for Arcade Fire!), and though we have yet to hear any new original material, they've shared a cover of "Rocketship" by Daniel Johnston, one of four bonus tracks on the forthcoming digital reissue of their beloved Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone?. The cover comes filled with rudimentary keyboard noise, earnest vocals, a patchwork charm, and starry melodies. It is both bleepy AND bloopy. In other words, it's the Unicorns and they're back. The cover will appear on the digital reissue of Who Will Cut Our Hair When We're Gone? out 7/29, with the CD version out 8/26, and the limited edition color vinyl out 10/7 via Caterpillar Records.
