Mark Perro and Nick Chiericozzi are both members of the Men, which means they spend most of their time bashing out fuzzed-up rock rave-ups in room that smell like spilled beer. But under the name Dream Police, the two of them also make dark, bleary psychedelia with synths and drums machines. Their debut album Hypnotized is a scuzzy, potent take on that whole Drive soundtrack sound, and it is well worth your time.
