The Smashing Pumpkins – “One And All”
The first song to be released from the Smashing Pumpkins’ upcoming Monuments To An Elegy, “Being Beige,” was not especially promising: not a Teargarden-esque disaster, but not even on the level of the band’s last LP, 2012’s strong Oceania. The brand new, guitar-overloaded “One And All” is a considerable improvement on “Being Beige,” in my opinion — it’s considerably heavier, too, which plays to Billy Corgan’s strengths at this point in his career. Check it out.
Monuments To An Elegy is out 12/9.
