Sex Pistols/Public Image Ltd. frontman John Lydon gave an interview to The Telegraph in which he says he spent £10,000 -- the equivalent of $15,632.60 -- on iPad apps. The man loves apps! More specifically, he loves the type of video games that allow you to buy an advantage, which is a fantastic way to flush money down the toilet. Apparently he's learned his lesson since getting sucked down a video game rabbit hole, but holy hell that's a lot of money to spend on gaming! Here's the word from Lydon himself:
I wasted -- you're the first to know this -- 10,000 fucking pounds in the last two years on apps on my iPad. I got into Game Of Thrones, Game Of War, Real Racing, and I just wanted to up the ante. And like an idiot I didn't check myself. I've been checked now. But there's a kid in me, see? A bit of my childhood was taken from me and I'm determined to bring it back.
