Rainer Maria's influence hangs heavily over many of today's best bands -- that undefined indie-rock/pop-punk/emo sweet spot inhabited by the likes of Waxahatchee, All Dogs, and many bands saddled with the "emo revival" tag -- so their reunion show at New York's Bowery Ballroom on New Year's Eve, their first show in eight years, was both heavily anticipated and mighty timely. Below, watch fan-made footage of several songs. The video is fairly blurry, but there's nothing questionable about the music, which remains triumphant as ever.
