He teased a new track during the Super Bowl, and released “Down On That” featuring Young Thug shortly after the game. Further tweets indicate the track will be on his next project, Brick Factory 3, and though it’s unclear when the whole tape will come, he’s dropping another new song tonight.”Down On That” is mostly dominated by Young Thug, who rattles through his verses and a jumpy hook over Cassius Jay production, until Gucci delivers an icy final verse. But it’s a standout verse from Gucci here, subbing in money for romance with lines like, “I got the money in the bed with me,” and, “I went to sleep with the bread on me.” Listen below.
