Next week, Twin Shadow will drop his new album Eclipse, his major-label debut. And if you needed further indication that George Lewis, Jr. isn't exactly a DIY type anymore, behold his Levis commercial. Lewis is the star of a new ad for the jeans company, and he doesn't just talk about his musical influences; he also explicitly endorses the jeans brand. I hope he got paid! In less culturally queasy news, Lewis and his band recently played a live-in-studio session for KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, knocking out impressive versions of the new songs "Turn Me Up" and "Eclipse." Watch the commercial and those two performances below.
