Talk about an entrance: Kendrick Lamar debuted his new “King Kunta” video on a Beats-branded billboard in Times Square earlier this evening, and it has now made its way online. We’ve already seen a short behind-the-scenes clip of the video shoot last week, so we knew a little bit of what we’d be getting: It’s a massive affair, filled with a huge crowd of people and shot in Lamar’s hometown of Compton, but pared down by choosing to shoot in a constricted frame. Lamar perches on top of his rightful throne, shares the spotlight with some impressive dancers, and dances around a convenience store. It’s a great video, and you can watch below.
