This Baltimore Protester’s Michael Jackson Dance Is Your Moment Of Zen For The Morning
The situation in Baltimore last night was an absolute heartbreaker on every level. The circumstances surrounding Freddie Gray’s death, which catalyzed all the chaos, are just unspeakably horrible. The Baltimore police’s escalation tactics, their willingness to turn the city into an absolute shitshow before coming close to admitting any sort of fault, is almost worse. And the violent reaction from some of the people of Baltimore, while it might make sense in context, isn’t helping anything. Everything about this story is just awful. So we’ll have to grab happiness wherever we can. And so thank god for the image of one protester seizing his moment, doing the choreography from Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” video absolutely perfectly in the middle of the street. This man may have been waiting for this moment for his entire life. Watch and be inspired.

The music came on after the pepper spray. Changed the whole vibe. Disarmed police intimidation. Beautiful #BaltimoreProtests
