Last time SOAK did did a cover, she was singing us to sleep in Annie Clark's dystopian future with a version of "Digital Witness." Now, 18-year-old Bridie Monds-Watson has tackled Led Zeppelin's iconic "Immigrant Song." A stippled synthetic bassline underlies her brooding, restrained take, and she never strays into the kerosene explosion that made Robert Plant's version a crowd favorite. Instead, SOAK keeps it low and lurking, exposing the song for the ominous ballad it always could've been. Listen below.
