Hear Yo La Tengo Perform On NPR’s Morning Edition
NPR news show Morning Edition often plays bits of music by New Jersey indie titans Yo La Tengo between segments, and today, they invited the band into their studios to perform live, essentially functioning as Morning Edition’s house band for a day. Yo La Tengo played a number of songs during breaks and transitions between stories — including “Tom Courtenay,” “Return To Hot Chicken,” “Ohm,” and “Pass The Hatchet, I Think I’m Goodkind” — and they also discussed their forthcoming covers album Stuff Like That There. You can stream a few clips from the episode below, and you can listen to the full thing here.
