Stream Craig Finn Faith In The Future
As frontman for the Hold Steady, Craig Finn frantically sprays artfully written short stories over huge, gratifying rock riffage. When he’s on his own, though, Finn’s a whole lot more musically understated, though his stories are just as considered and magnetic. Next week, Finn will release Faith In The Future, his second solo album. In interviews, he says the album has been shaped by the decade-plus that he’s spent living in New York, and it’s musically a little synthier than what we’re used to hearing from him. We’ve already posted his songs “Newmyer’s Roof” and “Maggie, I’ve Been Searching For Our Sons.” And now, alongside an interview with Finn, Vulture has posted a stream of the full album. Check it out below.
Faith In The Future is out 9/11 on Partisan.
