Watch The Black Keys’ Dan Auerbach Invent A Blind Old Blues Guy In A Colbert Skit
Dan Auerbach’s new Black Keys side project the Arcs released their first album, Yours, Dreamily, a few weeks ago, and two days ago the band appeared on Colbert’s Late Show to perform their bluesy single “Outta My Mind.” In a skit for the show, Auerbach also chats about his biggest musical influence, a fake blind bluesman named Blind Freddy Blindman, and performs a short song from Blindman’s equally fake album Seein’ Ain’t Believin’. (The lyrics are mostly about being blind.) Watch below.
Who was @danauerbach’s biggest influence, other than @thearcs and @theblackkeys? #LSSC
