We hadn’t heard much from Rustie since last year’s Green Language, but in the past few months, the Glaswegian dance producer has been unleashing some new tracks. Following the neon-streaked maximalism of “Big Catzz” and the tossed-off-but-impressive hospitalization recovery track “160 Hospital Riddim,” he’s just shared a new song called “First Mythz.” (Rustie likes ending song titles with Zs.) It opens with dolphin noises and a gorgeous wash of spacey synths before hurtling into overdrive, ending up as the kind of thing that could conceivably soundtrack a rave in a giant intergalactic racecar made of sugar.
