Toronto post-hardcore brutalists Metz released their great II album last year, and they’re about to drop a non-album 7″ single called “Eraser” on us. As Brooklyn Vegan points out, they just dropped the video for the furious track, and it’s just as nerve-jangling and disorienting as the song itself. Director Nathan Joyner shows us digitally distorted, disquieting images of seemingly random things — a dog’s blank stare, an empty car, a man’s face screaming — and leaves it up to us to make any sense of it.
