The first blizzard of 2016 is underway, dumping snow and ice over the South right now and arriving on the East Coast late tonight. One to two feet are expected in some parts, and it sounds like we are not supposed to drive in NYC, which is fine, since it’s not like I wanna drive in NYC when it’s not snowing. You should stay home, too; apparently one in four Americans are under some sort of extreme weather advisory today. Also the storm’s name is Jonas, which is maybe amusing to Weezer fans and Jonases. So what are good blizzard songs? “Blizzard Of ’77,” certainly. “Blizzard Of ’96,” too. Who will write the great Blizzard Of ’16 anthem? We’re waiting…

Drake is a terrible MC and has never recorded a good song. He’s a child star alumnus of a Nickelodeon show who had an equestrian theme for his bar mitzvah or some shit. And his answerbacks were weak as fuck. I don’t understand how the consensus came down on his side against Meek. Pure star power? |
