Swedish electronic experimenter and world builder the Field will release his new album, The Follower, next week. Up until today, we hadn’t heard any studio versions of the six tracks that make up the record — the only material Axel Willner has shared were live renditions of a number of tracks from the album. But now we get a recorded version of an album track called “Reflecting Lights,” a 14-minute suite that gradually builds from understated minimalism to a dramatic finish. Listen to it via NPR below.
