Austin experimental psych trio BOYFRNDZ are steady on the path for the release of their upcoming full-length, Impulse. They shared the lead single "Hiatus" about a month ago, and today they offer the followup "Ghosted" with the visual treatment. The song is a rhythmic assault careening into murky shoegaze with rapid-fire drums. The video is an awesome sci-fi treasure hunt (think The Goonies meets Ghostbusters) in which a goggled, caped crusader with laser eyes fights multiple flying creatures on a booze-fueled journey. The raw energy of the song is perfect for the quirkiness of the video. Check it out.
