It has to be so, so hard for a punk band to get its point across in a format like the late-night TV live performance. And it has to be even harder when the band’s frontman is a 55-year-old legend. And yet motherfucking Bob Mould just brings it every time he gets a chance to rock out on television. Mould released his impressive album Patch The Sky last month. And last night, he was on the Late Show With Stephen Colbert to bash out the rousing apocalypse anthem “The End Of Things” with his great touring band of Jason Narducy and Jon Wurster.
