Beyoncé has been on the Texas leg of her Formation tour for the past couple of days. It wasn’t a completely welcome homecoming for Bey as Houston police protested her show this past Saturday even though she explicitly explained that she’s against police brutality, not police. On her Dallas stop, she decided to join the many who have payed their respects to Prince by covering “The Beautiful Ones” from Purple Rain. With the crowd bathed in purple lighting, donning a Prince-esque embellished tunic with her hair blowing in the wind, Bey stared straight up in the sky as she passionately sang a heartfelt rendition of the song.
