Not long ago, the comedian Marc Maron was complaining that he wouldn't be releasing his comedy album on Drag City, the venerated Chicago indie, because he wasn't "cool" enough for the label:

Maron is, however, cool enough to welcome Drag City standard-bearer Joanna Newsom onto his great WTF podcast. Newsom, of course, has a comedy-world connection; she's married to Andy Samberg. And she's also proven herself to be a completely charming and engaging interview, especially as she's done more of them in the past year than, seemingly, in her entire career leading up to that. Maron considers her to be "an otherworldly talent," so this should be a good one. You can listen to it here.
