The Strokes – “Threat Of Joy” Video
Earlier this morning, the Strokes frontman Julian Casablancas showed up in Blood Orange’s “Augustine” video. And right now, his band has shared a new video of its own. “Threat Of Joy” is one of the three songs on the Strokes’ new surprise EP Future Present Past, and its video is a perfectly ridiculous pile-up of government conspiracies, old-timey dance sequences, ’70s film stock, and terrible rubber pig masks. Warren Fu directed the video, and it’s the most downright fun Strokes-related thing I’ve seen in forever. Watch it below, via Noisey.
Future Present Past is out now on Cult Records.
