Savoy Motel – “Sorry People”
Nashville party-rockers Savoy Motel are getting ready to release their self-titled debut album this fall, and they’re also getting ready to hit the road as the opening act for Dandy Warhols. Their sound, a sleasy lo-fi disco-rock pastiche, is exactly the sort of thing you might expect to hear from disco-addled Dandy Warhols tourmates. It’s pretty awesome. We’ve already posted their song “Souvenir Shop Rock,” and now they’ve also shared the strutting, Jay Reatard-inspired “Sorry People.” Below, listen to the song and check out the band’s tour dates.
