Pills Found In Desiigner’s Arrest Were Actually Steroids
Desiigner was arrested last week after an apparent road rage incident. The Brooklyn rapper and four others he was with got in a heated argument with a driver in another vehicle, and the driver of the other car called 911 after the rapper allegedly pulled a gun on him. Police responded to the 911 call and upon searching the SUV carrying Desiigner and crew, they found loose pills that were believed to be OxyContin, methadone, and steroids.
According to TMZ, it appears the arresting officer made a mistake and all 302 pills found on the scene have been correctly identified as steroids, including methandrostenolone, PharmOne Oxandrolone, and Halotest Fluxymesteron. It seems the pills belonged to the driver of the SUV and not Desiigner himself (if he is using them, they aren’t working).
The G.O.O.D. music rapper was initially charged with possession and intent to sell. The possession charge still remains, though the pills weren’t on his person, but the intent to sell charge has been dropped. Desiigner claimed that he had no clue drugs were in the vehicle.
The rapper was released hours after his arrest and has been as hyped as always at performances during NYC’s Fashion Week.
