Watch The Reunited P.S. Eliot Play Two Songs Live In Studio
Once upon a time, Katie and Allison Crutchfield had a band together called P.S. Eliot. They are one of the best pop-punk bands of all time, and if you’re a fan of Waxahatchee, Swearin’, or any of the various projects the twins have been involved in over the years since P.S. Eliot broke up, then investing in the band that started it all is well-worth it. Don Giovanni just released a compilation of P.S. Eliot’s recordings simply titled 2007-2011, and it features digital remasters of both 2009’s Introverted Romance In Our Troubled Minds and 2011’s Sadie, as well as their 2010 Living In Squalor EP, demos, and home recordings. The band’s been on tour to promote the compilation (I’m stoked to see them tonight with some of the ‘gum fam), and they recently stopped by WXPN to perform “Cry Uncle” and “Bear Named Otis” off of the Living In Squalor EP. Check it out over at NPR.
