Elle Watson is a singer-songwriter from a small town called Kent in southeast England, but her sound is very big. Though she sings in a gauzy tone, there is an alluring purity to her voice, and she writes deceptively piercing lyrics. She's set to drop her debut Phantom EP this coming winter. The Clams Casino-produced lead single "Walls" arrives today via The Fader. It's a spacious jam with Clammy Clams revving the energy up and down, using zooming synths and atmospheric sweeps to swell underneath Watson's voice as hits a powerful crescendo on the muted hook.
