Purple Pilgrims, the dream-pop duo of New Zealand sisters Clementine and Valentine Nixon, are releasing their new album Given To The Night at the end of the month. Today, they're following up promising early singles "Innocence Lost" and "Outside" with another one entitled "Look To The Moon."
In a statement, the Nixon sisters describe "Look To The Moon" as "a mantra, a sisterly love song — a communion with the universe, an anthemic prayer." On the track, they sing, "I looked to the moon/ The moon looked to me/ She said, 'Just be free.'" Listen to the beautifully gauzy track and watch its accompanying music video directed by Britt Walton below.
Given To The Night is out 11/27 on AD 93. Pre-order it here.
