The American Music Awards nominations were announced today, and Drake broke the record for most nominations in a single year, an honor that was previously held by Michael Jackson around the release of Thriller. Drake scored 13 nominations (as opposed to Jackson's 11), including noms for Artist Of The Year, Favorite Album (for both Views and his and Future's collab What A Time To Be Alive), Favorite Song ("One Dance" for the Pop/Rock category and "Hotline Bling" for Rap/Hip-Hop), and a bunch more.

Rihanna got seven nominations, Adele and Justin Bieber both got five, and Beyoncé and the Chainsmokers were both nominated four times. View all the nominees here.

The American Music Awards air on 11/20.
