Courtney Love has previously appeared in Sons Of Anarchy and Empire, and now she's been cast in a recurring role on Lifetime's upcoming Shakespeare anthology series A Midsummer's Nightmare. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the first season will be a modern-day thriller inspired by A Midsummer Night's Dream, and Love will play "a mysterious woman in the woods" who is part of the "sinister forces" that terrorize the show's four central lovers. Love joins a cast that includes Dominic Monaghan, Daisey Head, Jake Robinson, Eric Balfour, and more, and Jeff Kwatinetz and Josh Barry are set to executive produce the show alongside scriptwriter Anthony Jaswinski.
