Green Day have been hitting the promo circuit hard this week. In just the past few days, they’ve performed on the American Music Awards, Jimmy Kimmel Live, and now The Late Late Show With James Corden. And during the AMAs, while performing their single “Bang Bang,” they famously surprised producers by launching into an anti-Trump chant. On Corden last night, Billie Joe Armstrong talked about how the band hadn’t rehearsed the chant how the show presented them a good opportunity to start challenging everything Trump stands for.
