Palehound — the Boston-based band led by Ellen Kempner — have announced their sophomore album, A Place I’ll Always Go, with a video for new track “Flowing Over.” The song builds on the anxiety-ridden riffs that Kempner mastered on her 2015 debut LP, Dry Food, and started developing on 2013’s Bent Nail EP. It’s about how those nervous feelings manifest themselves in our relationships with others, and how we have a tendency to push away those that may frustrate us: “And I know your words are sugar but now’s not the best time for me/ I’ve got teeth with roots down to my feet,” Kempner sings. “Flowing over ’til I’m empty.”

The song comes attached to a video that highlights the Boston League Of Women Wrestlers as they get ready to perform. “The first time I saw BLOWW perform, their energy was so intoxicating that I couldn’t get them out of my mind for days,” Kempner said in a press release. “Watching other women/non binary people exert so much of their time and energy into their passion, I immediately felt inspired to step up my game.”
