Radiohead’s Thom Yorke And Jonny Greenwood Announce Italian Earthquake Benefit Show
As Radiohead face vocal criticism over their choice to play in Israel next month — a group of pro-Palestinian protestors are currently gathered outside the group’s London-based accounting firm — the band’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood have announced that they’ll play a benefit show later this summer in Italy whose proceeds will go towards the restoration of Marche, a southern Italian town that was hit by an earthquake earlier this year. The one-off show will take place at the Macerata Sferisterio in Macerata on 8/20.
