The Roots Executive Producing TV Show Based On Shea Serrano’s The Rap Yearbook
Shea Serrano’s The Rap Yearbook is getting turned into a television series for AMC, per Variety. It’ll be part of the channel’s new AMC Visionaries documentary series and each of its six episodes will center around one key song and feature a guest MC alongside a number of talking-head contributors. The series will be executive produced by Questlove and Black Thought of the Roots. No timeline on when the series will air.
