Slaughter Beach, Dog – “Fish Fry”
Last month, Modern Baseball’s Jake Ewald announced his sophomore Slaughter Beach, Dog album, Birdie, with the great “Gold And Green.” Today, he’s shared another single from it, a muted and introspective one called “Fish Fry” in which Ewald tenuously balances much-needed independence with the desire to fall back into old habits: “Mostly at night I can’t ignore the feeling of wishing you were with me/ All my friends insist that I should really be spending some time alone.” Listen to it below.
